Anyone would think these 50's Style Retro Duck Wall Ornaments were simply quackers, and they’d be right. Straight off the walls of sixty years ago these fabulous feathered fliers are replicas of the flying ducks often seen adorning the sitting room walls of suburbia and made particularly famous by good old Hilda in Coronation Street. Peter Scott had a lot to answer for and they came into fashion, went out again, and now they’re as firmly in again as a fat leg in a tight boot.
They’ve got hooks on the back for hanging in a tasteful line up or down or sideways, and you can put them anywhere you like including the bathroom. Give them a tickle with a feather duster from time to time, just to keep with the spirit of the times, and don’t forget to wear a headscarf and curlers when you’re doing it. That goes for the women, too.
